Professional triathletes representing Great Britain and Team England
Tom & David were born and raised in Derby, UK. With a love for outdoor sports and sibling rivalry to handle, it was only natural that they turned triathlon and it wasn’t long before they were competing at an elite level.
Tom looked comfortably at home among the world’s elite competitors in 2017. Five top ten finishes from seven ITU International events was his best season yet, with second place in Abu Dhabi the highlight of his season. These performances and an ITU World Ranking of 7 resulted in Tom being selected for Team England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. David is an International triathlete in his own right and is currently based at the High Performance Triathlon Centre at Loughborough.
Amongst his best achievements are winning the AJ Bell London Triathlon and Blenheim Triathlon. An injury plagued season in 2017 restricted David’s racing but he still managed to place 5th at his only European start in Weert, Netherlands. He also finished on the podium at the brutal Challenge Davos ahead of Olympic medallist, Sven Riederer. The 1900m swim, 50km bike and 21.1km run is known as the hardest half distance race in the world.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics is the ultimate goal and as Tom & David pursue their dreams, they both want to inspire the next generation of triathletes and help grow the sport in the UK.
